Payments can be made by mail. Please return the bottom portion of the tax bill with your payment. (Putting the tax bill number on your check is also helpful for both of us.) Make checks payable to John Dunn, Sheriff. If you choose to make your payment in the office, please have your check written in advance to hasten the process.
- If you wish a paid receipt, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment and return both parts of your bill.
- Not able to accept credit card payments.
- Payments can be made at the following bank locations:
a. National City Bank – Alexandria, Cold Spring, Bellevue, and Newport
b. Citizens Bank – Newport, Bellevue, Alexandria, Ft. Thomas, and Highland Heights
*Payments can be made during normal banking hours from November 1, 2006 thru December 31, 2006. You must have your tax bill with you.
Tax Bill Information
Prior year delinquent taxes must be paid in the county clerk’s office. Call 859-292-3845 for amount due. Separate checks must be made for current year and delinquent year taxes.
All Delinquent tax bill payments must be received in the Sheriff’s office No Later than 10:00AM on March 20, 2008. Postmarks will not be accepted.
If a delinquent tax bill is not paid by that time, a lien will be filed on your property in the Campbell county clerk’s office by either the sheriff’s department on behalf of all taxing districts, or by those who purchased your tax bill. Payments can be made in the sheriff’s office at the Newport courthouse at 4th and York Street, Newport KY.
