Do you have an old “Old Glory”

Aside

The United States Flag is a patriotic symbol that should not just be thrown away when it has reached the end of its life. Many people do not know what to do with an old flag. You can dispose of your old U.S. Flag by bringing it to the Sheriff’s office in Newport and place it in the Official U.S. Flag Disposal Box and it will be properly put to rest for you.

WE WILL BE OPEN DECEMBER 30th, 2022 FOR FINAL DAY OF TAX COLLECTION.

Aside

The Campbell County Sheriff Office will be open regular hours at our Newport location to allow for one final day to pay your property taxes in person. You will still be able to pay on-line through December the 31st.

January 1st, 2023 you will need to pay the January amount listed on your bill. There is a strict and limited list of legal reasons that you can pay this bill at the earlier amount, but most often people do not fit within any of the legally allowable parameters when this is attempted.
