It was my Office’s honor to have the Kentucky State FOP President, Deputy Scott Hildebrand, escort Laken Ramirez to the National Police Memorial on May the 15th, 2026. Laken’s husband is a fallen Kentucky Corrections Officer, Sergeant George Ramirez who was fatally killed in an automobile accident while on the way to guard an inmate at the hospital. Sergeant Ramirez gave seven years of service. May he never be forgotten.
