We are so proud to introduce Deputy Darryl Jouett, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office’s first School Resource Officer.
Deputy Jouett was a long time Erlanger police officer. He served many roles with Erlanger, including that of a D.A.R.E. Officer before he retired.
The Sheriff’s Office was contracted by Southgate Public School in order to fulfill the Kentucky Legislature’s mandate that all schools in Kentucky must have a full time School Resource Officer.

She was so nervous to let go of Dad’s hand, but she was willing to take SRO Jouett’s hand and let him take into school for her first day.
The kids took immediate interest in this new person in uniform and welcomed him warmly.
