By calendar, the last day to collect taxes without delinquency is December 31st. We have been advised by Citizen’s Bank that they have decided to close all day on Saturday the 31st. As the county holiday schedule has the Sheriff’s office closed Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st, Citizens Bank was the only way to last minute pay taxes. Please be advised that unless paid by the end of business Thursday December 29th, any unpaid taxes will be delinquent.
Delinquency can be avoided by mailing your bill so that it can be post marked in time to not be considered delinquent.
