The police memorial and national police week are very dear to myself and my family’s heart. As many know, we have a strong family tradition of serving in law enforcement. This year I am especially proud to attend this ceremony with one of the newest Covington Police Officers, Michael Jansen, Jr. Thanks to all those who attended the ceremony, to those who still serve, and to those who are survivors of those that gave all in the line of duty.
