On Wednesday, May 18, a group of Highlands High School and Highlands Middle School choir students were asked by Sheriff Mike Jansen to perform at the Northern Kentucky Police Memorial ceremony in Covington, Kentucky. The ceremony was to honor all of the police officers in Northern Kentucky who have been killed in the line of duty. At the ceremony, our students sang The National Anthem and My Old Kentucky Home. Also pictured is Officer Sean Donelan of the Fort Thomas Police Department. We’d thank them for being a part of the ceremony and making it special.
